Partnership with Sidearm Sports to include increased coverage from the Runnin鈥� Bulldog Sports Network

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. 鈥� New for the 2023-2024 season, fans have numerous options for broadcast coverage of Runnin鈥� Bulldogs athletics. Local audiences will continue to find 蜜桃传媒-Webb Football on WGNC AM 1450 / FM 101.1, and our 鈥楧awgs around the world can now catch the Runnin鈥� Bulldog Sports Network (RBSN) live on The Varsity Network app (for all mobile devices). All broadcasts on The Varsity Network app can also be heard online at .  

鈥淭here鈥檚 a pretty good growl coming out of Boiling Springs, North Carolina, these days,鈥� exults GWU President Dr. William Downs. 鈥淥ur Runnin鈥� Bulldogs are making noise across the NCAA D-I landscape, and it鈥檚 fitting that we are taking steps to ensure that more alumni, more fans, and more followers can hear the sounds of competition and victory. RBSN has also announced plans for more coverage throughout the 2023-24 athletic season with the addition of live radio broadcasts of featured baseball and softball games. These broadcasts are on top of the existing coverage of all football, men鈥檚 basketball, and women鈥檚 basketball.  

鈥淭he Varsity Network is the premiere network for college sports radio play-by-play,鈥� said Assistant Athletic Director for Broadcasting & Strategic Communication Phil Constantino. 鈥溍厶掖�媒-Webb fans can now access all radio broadcasts, for free, in one location, as the RBSN expands its digital footprint to bring more 鈥楧awgs into our pack. We are thrilled to grow our partnership with Sidearm Sports!鈥�  

Established in 2021 by Sidearm Sports, a Learfield Company, The Varsity Network App serves as a live audio game day hub for partner institutions, including some of the most iconic brands in the college sports. The app is available for download in the Apple Store for iPhone users and the Google Play Store for Android users.  

The RBSN鈥檚 first broadcast of the 2023-2024 season is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 2, when the football team travels to Appalachian State University.
